Hey Everyone, brand new here (actually just bought my Q45, black on black, 56k mi, for $21k on sunday. Working with auto advertising has its benefits!) My only concern with the car is how well it performs in snow... i do live in colorado, and while our winters tend to be mild, we do occasionally get snow. Does the traction control, etc, really help out considering my garage leads straight out to a hill that i have to start out on from a dead stop. I have had a rear wheel before ('89 Merc Grand Marquis... pimpin baby!) and had trouble occasionally. Other than that, i am having trouble finding aftermarket perfomance parts for her... any site to suggest? I would love a turbo or supercharger, cold air, and better cpu managment. Sorry this is such a long post. Thanks!

You won't be able to plow through large snow banks by any means, but an appropriate snow tire and correct the driving technique will allow you to complete your basic commute ... assuming it isn't through a mountain pass .

With a reasonable snow tire youll be fine... As long as youre not up to the frame rails in snow you should be fine... The heavyness of the car really helps.. Just be sure you have over 1/2 tank most the time.

All-seasons will not cut it, even with a VLSD Diff. I went through 2 hellish snow falls this last winter and I will not be driving next winter w/o winter tires.

Bridgestone Blizzak's are the way to go.

Give Tyrone ([email protected]) an email for a set of stock wheels.

He's quick and has great prices.

Funny we're talking about this while it's damn hot out!
