I have searched but I am not clear on one of the connectors on my q45 ignitor swap. I've followed Heavy Throttle's wiring diagram but none of the colors match up on one side of the harness or ignitor. The one on the left is the from the Q and on the right is my SR harness. Also does anybody know where these wires would go?Any help would be much obliged and please keep the search noob comments to yourself, i've tried. Thanks a bunch

It's pretty straight forward. A simple multimeter set to a continuity test should tell you where stuff is going to.

One side you've got 4 pins, the other side you've 5. The one with 5, leads you to a pin out diagram that looks like this:

x 21 8G 22 9

where X is no wire, G is Ground, and the other 4 numbers go to pins on the ECU.

The 4 pin looks like this

2 14 2

where the numbers on the pin out goes to the coil pack. So with a multimeter set to continuity, you should be able to verify this in a couple minutes without even having to consider the color.

You bumped a 3 year old thread to say that?
