If it doesn't fix the miss then I would suspect a bad diagnosis on the injector NOT being the culprit. The ignitors just do not fail very often. It is possible to confirm the coil before replacing it, but that takes about as much labor as swapping the part. Depends on the cost of the part. If you can get one for less than $20 I'd say buy it and either swap it or have it ready to swap when you confirm the coil. The risk is that you never know for certain what you're getting with used parts.
