Well I tried using my good fuel pump controller on the problematic Q45, that did not fix it and the fuel pressure was tested, it was fine

Please define "fine" at idle and WOT.

You must measure fuel pressure UNDER LOAD on the highway not just sitting still. There can be a 50- 100 TIMES difference in fuel consumption at warm idle in Park and peak consumption during WOT acceleration on the road.

The difference between 34 psi and 43.4 psi represents only a 13% difference in injector flow rate......................it is all about 1 millisec vs 11 millisecs open time and a 10x rpm increase [650>6500].

How does one check fuel pressure on the road? Would that be something that could be done with a Consult or Blazt?

You get a long enough piece of rubber hose and then cut it in 2 then attach everthing up properly then tape to the windshield.

Neither laptop consult or the real Consult (To my understanting) are capable of reading or calculating the fuel pressure.

So it's just an extension of the fuel line? Wouldn't that change the pressure reading since the length of the fuel travel pattern is longer? Would it be the same as OEM, or would you have to recalculate to allow for the longer fuel lines and draw your conclusions from there?
