Q45 hell........I have a 1991 Q45 with electrical demons!

Does anyone have a solution for the Q45 electrical systems failure? One system after another fails. First the interior lighting, then the seats, then the driver's side door speaker burns out. What next? Ah! the Transmission stops shifting! What gives? Any solutions for the shifting malaise? Do people actually like these cars? So ok, it has the big dual overhead cam v8. big deal! It has fresh GoodYear Assurance trippletread tires and nice Prime six spoke alum. wheels other than that, bone stock. The Q45 is for sale....cheap! email me and come see this car. [email protected]

im pretty sure automatics arent electronic, its fluid and pressure

check your fuses, make sure they are the right ones

both your wheel and tire choices are not features I would highlight on a q45.

Get a new battery. Check the wiring connection to the Transmission Control Unit. If it looses communications, the car defaults in 3rd gear.

I have had a lot of electrical gremlins in my Q45's, but they all are cured by reseating the connections. The Bose speakers & amps are a common problem. Sounds like the previous owners might have let some maintenance issues slide.
