I'd guess some sort of microfiber (polyester)... but that's just a wild guess. Slow night? :D

Heheh, actually I have the first season of Pimp My Ride on DVD. Just got me thinking. Some of the things they do on that show are tasteful and creative.

The headliner is uber quality. I was comparing the softness to my friends XJR, and it's definetely comparible

What is our dash made out of? It can't be hard plastic, because the dash in my 92 is still somewhat soft to the touch, and almost rubbery. It's not like as rubbery as the BMW/JAG dashes... However it's definetely not cheap hard plastic like the new Q/M have

I don't like the headliner cloth. My 94 Honda Accord that I use to have was all of a vinyl material similar to the Q's headliner forward of the sunroof. I like that better because it makes the headliner much easier to clean. I'm also a smoker and it doesn't absorb the smoke smell as much.

Q headliner is a cashmere wool blend material AFAIK.

Dash is a super high-quality vinyl, much thicker than most other cars.

The 96MY has a CHEAP A$$ looking headliner! Anyone know how much for a new "older" headliner + replacement?

It's too bad they didn't use the same material, and cover the visors and all that area. What I mean if you check out the Y33 the panel where the visors are and stuff is covered in the same material as the headliner.

Same in jags and stuff.

I think if they did the visors you'd get them dirty unless you washed your hands constanly and never ate in your car.

just about every car has, the quality may not be as good as the luxury cars though.

I mean just about every car has the headliner trim run to the visors and surronding area

I personally like the vinyl on there better, for the reason TKD said... With the light colors they woujld get dirty and hard to clean... I mean Ive seen the carpets from a shamu Q, and unless its perfect clean, its not pretty......

Best just to stick with black interior... Looks good and easy to maintain.....

Vinyl? You are saying the material around the sunroof is vinyl?

When I refer to dash, I refer to THE TOP PART. Not the surronding stuff aroudn the radio

Can some Q guru give us a complete run down of all material used in the interior?
