I'm pretty sure the answer is, "No" but here it goes anyway. The Factory system on my '90 Q45 is rotted and leaking in several places, is there any aftermarket systems available for this car or am I pretty much stuck with custom fabbing a new one?

If I do go the custom route what would you guys recommend for mufflers? I don't mind a little aggression but I don't want to be driven mad by highway drone.

Are your resonators rusting out also?

Yes - custom is the only route...

I'd punch out the pre-cats, delete the rear muffler, redo exhaust pipe, replace resonators with magnaflows. Then you either do turn downs after the magnaflows or pipe it out the back where the rear suitcase used to be (which will be less smelly than turn downs).

You can always add a rear muffler later if this is too loud.

Below is magnaflows, no rear muffler, turn downs - sounds great if you ask me

Any dual in/dual out muffler will work..

Personally I would eliminate the mufflers near the rear suspension and keep the rear muffler. It will have a good sound, and you eliminate a lot of that terribly sounding raspyness if you leave the muffler close to the exhaust exit.

If I had to go back and do it again, I'd probably run duals from the manifolds to the cats, then Y-pipe it into a single exhaust and single muffler (probably 3 or 3.5") the rest of the way.

I have straight pipe all the way back to a dual in/dual out muffler, and it's borderline too loud on the highway. You get into some mad drone about 2250-2500 RPM (which is where you sit most the time). Before I had the same setup but the 2 mufflers near the rear suspension, and that was pretty nice. I wanted it a little louder, and I kind of regret that.

If you wanted the flexibility to be louder, you could just use V-band clamps on the mufflers and have pipes made so you could mix and match your exhaust. I would also recommend ANY joints in the exhaust be done with V-bands. It makes taking everything apart so much easier, no gaskets required!

Thanks guys, prob just going to do a custom job, catless, x-pipe, and a magnaflow dual in / out muffler. should be cheaper that way and help free up a bit of ground clearance too. if it's too loud after that I can always add in some slim line resonators.
