q45 Fuel pump diagnosis

I think my fuel pump is bad in my 95 Q. Car has rough idle, low power. Fuel pressure w/regulator is about 24 psi and goes down to about 20 psi with mid to WOT. Pressure leaks down to about 16 within about 30 seconds of shut off. Yes, it hums.

Pump resistance is 1.4 ohms compared to 0.5 ohms in the FSM spec. The FP regulator seem to check ok.

Codes are 34 (knock sensor) and 51 (injector analysis). The latter code was generated in the last few days after the car started running worse than it had been.

Any other test to verify the FP problem?

yeah... replace the pump and watch the problems go away!

no wonder the car barely runs, you have about half the fuel pressure you need to START the car!
