Per the title, I got a pair of Q45 front calipers for my 240 and the left one has one hole for the brake line and the right has a hole for the brake line and another right beside it. I'm awful new to working on cars, so it might just be common knowledge what it is, but I have no idea what it is and I can't find anything about it. I checked the Q45 fsm and all the articles I could find, they all just talk about the single hole in the middle. So, eh, what is it? :| Any help appreciated.

The second hole you are talking about is the where the brake pad wear sensor mounts at. There is not one on the drivers side thats why there is not a hole there, same thing on the back.

Thanks for the info. So do I have to plug that? What size bolt or whatever should I use?

I wouldnt worry about it,its just a simple tap.......about 3/4 of an inch deep and a 12 mm. head.the only purpose it serves is to hold the mounting bracket for the brake pad sensor.
