q45 electric troubleshooting

My 97 q45 has had some sort of electrical problem. After a new batery, plugs, wires, and a full electirical test, headllights to tail, the car still acts up. When I try to start it, one out of 10-15 times it like the key is no in the ignition. Then 2-3 tries later its like nothing's wrong. Any ideas, suggestions, experience. Thanks Its important I spend my days on the road. 97 q45 160k miles, South FL .

Hmm, when the car is running can you hear a "whirring" noise coming from the back seat?

Any out of the ordinary noises?

Do you mean it doesn't crank?It is confusing when someone describes a consern in a scattered manner!If you have no crank condition at times, I would check starter first. Do a current draw test. Check grounds, relays and so on. Cheers!
