OK,

sorry so many questions, but I have been doing searches to no avail. Anyway, I think I'm doing what the manual says, but the car never seems to change. I just got a 94 Q and have been trying to set the memory positions. I set everything where I want it then hit the set button. The 1 and 2 buttons both light up. I'm just supposed to push in the 1 button at this point and it's set right? When I get in the car and go to the on position, the wheel moves, but the seat never goes back to where I set it. Anyway, again the system might not work, but I might not be doing this correctly.

If you follow the procedure in the owner's manual correctly, then check the steering column button is not on cancel.

You press the set button... light comes on, press and hold until the light comes on again, and when the light comes again it is set...

On my 96 I have to hold the 1 or 2 button down until it starts ... blinking? can't remember exactly what it does, but I know you have to hold it for a few seconds at least, not just a push.

Thanks guys...I'll try again, but I think it's on the fritz. Seems like the steering wheel goes to where I set it, but the seat slides to the rear for me to get in then just stays there...I have to slide it forward every time. Oh well, not that big of a deal. Oh and I did check the cancel button on the steering column and it is off (out...I can see the white portion of the button).
