Just found out my 96 Q45 has a coolant leak. I haven't seen it yet, but the mechanic (not my mechanic - a presale inspection guy) thinks its a hose under the plenum. I called T3 and they recommend replacing all hoses under the plenum for $850 (all day job).Any recommendations on saving some money? Is this a fairly quick and easy do-it-yourself job? I'm good with cars but time is a consideration. Also, should I replace anything else while this is getting done?

thanks

It's not easy, but you can save some $$ doing it yourself. Wes should chime in here with a link to his plenum job thread soon... You'll want to consider replacing the knock sensors and their harness while you're under there.

Thanks. I did check out Wes' Q45.org site after my post. Great info. Does anyone know if a kit is available with all of the required parts? thanks
