q45 cd changer problem

When I turn on my bose system and try to sell cd I ger an ERR message. I have the OEM changer in the trunk. The ambient temperature is very cold 10F so I assumed it is related to this. Does anyone have any experience as how to solve this problem

Get a cd player lens cleaner disc. After a while the lens gets dirty and requires cleaning... If the lens cannot pick up the disc, (it is harder in colder temps), then it will not play the cd. I would try this first. Unplug the cd changer then plug it back in, you will then be ready to clean the laser.

Disconnect the battery, and see if it resets itself. Also, don't try to use it before it's at a normal temperature.
