will the stock rotors on the s13 work with the q45 calipers? or should i just get the rotor redrilled for the q45

The s13 and the q45 rotars are different. You need to drill out the q45 rotars to fit your 4 lug hub. If you have a 5 lug hub than you can try and see if it fits or just redrill it. Actually had JDM_master_x and my self do the q45 brake conversion into ppd_sileighty s13. Check out his link (scroll down to see the rotar comparison). zerothread/207755

yeah ppd_sileighty also had brand new s13 rotors. But when trying them on with the q45s it was a no go so he was forced to use the q45s. Oh well, can always sell the s13 rotors. After wire wheeling, sanding and having the q45 rotors put on the lathe, it looks real nice.

s13 rotors wont fit. they are too think IIRC 21mm vs 28mm or something on the q45.

i just got my rotors redrilled to 4lug and thats it.

The reason for upgrading calipers is so you can also used igger rotors. Getting Q45s and running S13 rotors is pretty pointless becuase you dont get the heat dissapasion of the much bigger Q45 rotors. Not to mention it wouldnt work, lol.

QFT. also brake pads wouldnt have as much contact with the rotor because s13 ones are so small

Haha, yeah, like half the pad would be in the air, which would lead to uneven wear. It's just dmb.
