q45 caliper problem

hey guys... well i was going to install my q45 calipers.. i rebuild both so i went to install and started bleeding well when i bled my right caliper it popped.. and there is a rip in the dust boot... my question is does the dust boot meant to hold any fluids back or is it just for the dust not to get in?

the dust boot on your sliding pins? i think you'll be okay.
