How long does it take to do some major wear to your tires through doing donuts burnouts etc. I realized how easy it was do this with a Q45 and a little water on the ground

I'm no expert on the subject dude, but its alot easier on the tires in water versus dry roads. My J30 is waaay weaker than a Q and I can still spin the tires on rainy days, its fun ain't it? :D

Put a little bleach on the ground...now THAT creates a good smoke show! Here is me a few years ago enjoying a good smoke...or two. Oh...and pardon the spoiler...its gone now. :Phttp://home.comcast.net/~q45guy/q45burnout.avi

Wow.... too bad there isn't sound too! That looks like fun - but I'm too much of a cheap as$ to do it and I'd probably tear something up, but I'd love to do it in someone else's Q :D

Reminds me of a friend of a friend who'll go drive the living hell out of a new car on a test drive - basically to the point of having the rotors glow when he pulls back to the lot and then saying "I'll take one... just not that one."

nice video. Were you planning on replacing the tires soon? Also, I was thinking that if you did that, would you wear out your rear brakes? cuz you had your foot on the brake lightly and then punched the gas at the same time, right? The rear calipers are still probably on the disc so I figure it would heat up the disc like crazy and cause excessive wear on the pads.

I did that a few times once too. I just wonder now if that made the brakes wear out faster.

And that spoiler was soooooo nasty....what were you smoking when you put it on?

Actually from what I remember that burnout video was done with Bridgestone Potena RE940's and they had plenty of tread on them afterwards. As for the brakes...well I had alreayd planned on replacing them and did so about a week later. Once the brakes cooled from that, they worked fine.

Btw....I did say PARDON the wing!!! :pface
