2 questions.

1st. Has anyone ever put a hood scoop on their Q.

2nd. Does anyone know what the average life is for the mufflers on a 1st generation Q?

Not sure on the hood scoop. The exhaust systems typically lasts the life of the car - unless you have fuel mixture problems and melt the cats or something. I'm sure it varies with climate, but I'd think 150K-175K would be a very good estimate.

Heath.

Are there any major differences you notice when driving your 200K Q vs. your 56K Q?

One guy put a hood scoop on his Q, we neutered him and staked him on a fire ant mound covered with honey!

Nothing major... it's sort of like all of the little noises are a little louder in the 200K Q, but they're very, very similar.

Now I thought that staking someone to a fire ant mound was something that we only did in the Northwest Florida area. Very well said....I just can't imagine a scoop on the Q, but everyone has their own tastes.

I think RSI may have something to add to this in the future :)

LOL - We may HAVE to do a scoop for the intercooler project...

Maybe dual air-to-air's one on each side of the hood, with WRX-style scoops?

OOOPS - I did it again. Bad Hitman. :(
