I got the hubs off of a 1990 q45, for my 240, from a junk yard. What i am having a question about is, the nut holding the hub on the q45 is on the back side of the hub, and the nut holding the hub on the 240 is in front of hub. How is this going to work. PLEASE help

It's not going to work. If you bothered to search the literally 1000's of threads made on this topic you would have discovered that the q45 brakes themselves work but the q45 5 lug hubs don't. FRONT AND REAR Q45 5 LUG HUBS DO NOT WORK!!!

For an s14 you need oem nissan front hubs, new or used. For the rears you can use used s14 rears or non-turbo z32 rears.

For an s13 you can buy new aftermarket conversion hubs from several vendors or swap in s14 spindles and do the swap like you would on an s14.

i got the brake calipers also, so if i leave it a 4 lug what rotors can i use with the q45 calipers, or what i really want is a 5 lug which rotors would work with the q45 calipers, and i have searched and searched and get mixed answers, i just want an answer from someone that has done this. I have an s13.thanks

if you want to make the Q45 work you will have to swap out the axles and the diff. iirc you need a drivers q45 axle and a drivers 300zx NA axle and put it on you passenger side. I'm not 100% so search it. but it will work i do know that.

if you want to use the q45 brakes and stay 4 lug just re-drill the q45 rotor and slap that thing on there. you will also have to get the ebrake assembly to pass inspection

Use q45 rotors and have them re-drilled by a machine shop for 4 lug or just use them on the 5 lug conversion hubs. End of story.

Q45 hubs work on 240sx(S13). They are direct bolt-on's (rear)

I just finished putting in today VLSD from Q45 and rear hubs from Q45. You will need driver side CV axle from Q45 and driver side CV axle from 300zx TT (twinturbo)(300zx CV tt is a pain in the a$$ to get, best way to get them order online) 300zx CV goes on your driver side, Q45 CV goes on your pass side. I would advise to buy new 5 lug rotors, because it's not worth it to to drill them your self it's a PITA

Hope this helps.

What nut are you talking about(post pics if you have them)

thanks for all the help, i think ill just leave it 4 lug and buy the rotors to redrill, that sounds like the easiest way.

Can't you use 90s Altima rotors in the front? They are 280x22 and 4 lug.

what is the inner hat distance? my guess is that they are not as deep as the Q or Z rotors. also iirc the altima had the same type of ebrake that the 240 has
