So.... I'm upgrading the front calipers and rotors on my versa to Q45 calipers and rotors. The problem I am having is that the stock caliper bracket bolts for the versa do not fit into the Q45 caliper bracket. The versa bolts are too small...
But what I fond very strange is that while I was at the junkyard I also picked some J30 calipers and brackets. The J30 caliper and bracket bolted up perfectly to the Versa.
Did I by any chance buy the wrong year Q45 caliper? Because I have read countless write ups about the q45/j30 calipers bolting DIRECTLY up to a 240... how is this possible if the bracket bolts on the Q45 are much larger?
I believe the Q45 caliper I pulled was a 96 (first gen)
If I had to guess I'd say the stock versa caliper bracket bolts (the ones that fit into the J30 caliper bracket) are probably a m12 and from the looks of it the Q45 are a m14... Can ANYONE clear this up for me???
