I got some q45 calipers today for my s13 240sx, and they appear to have a banjo fitting for the brake line. is this correct, and can i just use the q45 brake line or do i have to source a specific hose? like maybe a 300sx front brake swap hose? thanks for any input.

Your correct. if your putting this on you S13 you can just use the s13 lines/fittings.

Hawk sells pads for the Q but theyre kinda hard to find, but most places that can get hawk pads can get them for you.

For rotors you can run brembo blanks, thats what i would run personally.

SPL can get you hawk pads for the Q brakes. That's where I got mine. If I remember correctly, they cost about the same as the front pads for the 240.

I've had this setup for a good 1yr+, both on my car and my wife's. I've got the brembo crossed/slotted type paired w/ AXxis semi's. So far the only problem I have is that the hose doesn't hold its own temperature wise. I've had the car w/ these brakes for more than a year, and w/ constant abuse, the brakes are still 90-95%~!!!!!!!! Just remember to use a TORQUE WRENCH on all your lug nuts (80-ft/lb). Also, you'll need to bleed the lines, the brake fluid boils rather easily. Either bleed them, or upgrade to the german fluid for $16 a bottle.

Either way, the brakes are good, even if you dont buy the axxis or performance, just the size difference alone is enough for a great improvement. E-mail me if you have any other questions, I've got pics on my cardomain page......
