Took my Bose head unit out today to see if I find what was wrong with the no operating tape deck. At the rear of the head unit there are two DIN sockets and only one cable going in to one of them. What is the other for?

I could not see anything obviously wrong, but the tape deck part of the system just seems totally dead. The radio works great and the cd changer in the trunk which is controlled from the head unit

Any thoughts?

I'm going to guess by now you've considered sending the unit in for repair, but did you ever get the pin info for the 2 DIN sockets? I have the info somewhere, I'll see if I can find to post.
