Q45 abs/tcs/slip

How do you reset the abs/tcs/slip lights? I have a 1997 Q. I have replaced the abs sensor as that was the code i recieved.Thanks

Have you tested your alternator? How old is the battery?

There was a recall that year. Does you Infiniti dealer performed service history show it was replaced?

Thanks for the welcome. Looks like alot of info here. I had a friend who has the equipment to check the codes and the abs relay is the code i recieved. I have replaced that and was just looking for info on how to reset the lights in the dash or do i have to go hook it back up to the computer again to have it reset? Oh yeah! I just put a new battery in it and the alternator is charging properly.

i don't believe any reset is required if the alternator is performing under load properly. Voltage output alone is not a sufficient test.

The ABS/TCS/SLIP lights dont really apply to the Y33s like they do for G50s for alternator.. Usually when the "christmas tree" comes on, youll start noticing other things.....

Anyway, ive seen this before on Y33s.. And i think if you unplug the battery overnight, that should take care of it...
