Q45/94: Valve Cover Gaskets - Sealant or Adhesive Needed?

Hello,When replacing the valve cover gaskets, do I need to use any kind of sealant (i. RTV) or adhesive?Tks.

The kit I bought included the four end plugs, a center gasket and a tube of black RTV, which you use to seal the the valve cover to the head around the edges and around the spark plug wells.

When i did the covers, i didnt use RTV, but itmight not be a bad idea to put it on the plug holes and on the groove on the head...

Tks for your feedback. I ordered the gaskets yesterday; if the kit comes with the RTV, I will use it.
