BG 44K is the best choice for injector cleaner - strongest - has a good history with NICO members. After that, Techron is most recommended but not nearly as much active ingredient in it.

Depends on what you desire to use a fuel system cleaner [solvent or detergent] to clean especially since modern returnless systems don't recirculate fuel thru rails and past injector screens.

Techron is the SAME detergent added to certain brands of gasoline as one of the hundreds of other appoved detergents.

As with Techron and BG44K you need to decide if more or a significant amount of more or someother detergent is right for your problem.

Detergents are expensive since they are so concentrated and can work with 11 ounces containing maybe 2.5 ounce in 20 gallons [2560 oz]..........that would be maybe 1/10th of a percent of detergents in a tank

Gasoline has 1/50 of this amount of some type of detergent................... so how a 50x increase is the question.

BG44K is a start. YOu can also wee if they will do a rail flush.

Using Tier 1 Premium is a must.

Have you changed the air filter and or fuel filter? I believe fuel filter calls for 50k miles interval. This just might be your problem.

On the F50, the filter is in the tank.

Most filters require an annual chahnge if not more frequent.

I have been using the BG44K for the past two years with some very good results. How many miles do you have in your Q? It also good to check and clean your MAF and TB.

I don't follow manuals for filters because I change them more often than I need to. I live in Las Vegas and it is so hot and dusty. So I atleast do my air filters every 6 months, transmission fuild and filter change at least once a year, Oil change every 3k miles, fuel filter every year.

I love my cars to last long. My oldest car in a Toyota Camry Wagon V6 with 183,000 miles. No leaks and A/C blows 17*C at the vent with a digital thermometer, with the original compressor. I guess that is something to brag about here in the desert.
