I wish my car was in that nice of shape... My Q is far from cosmetically perfect, but ill give you nickel for any other Q that is more mechanically sound..
No doubt... I noticed some in JasonB's pictures with his '02 Q too.3rd Q wrote:BTW, I got a kick out of all the real estate signs in your garage- looks just like mine! Seems to be a bunch of guys on this forum in the real estate biz.

Try Meguiars ScratchX. All of Meguiars "abrasive" polishes use "micro diminishing abrasive technology", which means the particles break down as you use it. When I attended their clinic, they pass some stuff around, you can literally feel it break down as you rub it. I personally would not use KIT on the whole car, just around door handles.kimrober wrote:Beautiful!BTW, how do you remove hard water spots on the body? The Q was sprayed with water sprinkler on the hood which I forgot to wipe it off and left on the sun for extensive period of time... it looks terrible!
Why is that? Again, I was just trying to clean the paint before applying the NXT. I know it's not ideal, but I don't want to do something that will damage things either. The car has some tiny specs in the paint that I've never been able to remove. Almost pinpoint sized - like some sort of overspray or something. They're almost more like something you feel rather than see, and I only notice them when waxing the car. I assume a clay bar is the best approach.Falkdesigns wrote:I personally would not use KIT on the whole car, just around door handles.
