You guys should settle on the highest price you'd be willing to pay here on the forum so that you don't drive the price up for each other.

Good idea.

Those are hard to come by, but not as critical to have stockers for a J as it doesn't weigh as much. Good aftermarket rims for the j should be fine.

I have not, and likely will not bid on them in light of the fact that there is another NICO member looking at them and I would have been settling anyway - I want a set of OZ Operas (http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ORD-1-1-1-6273.cfm). I really like the look of a closed wheel on the J.

Good luck on the rims Rob.

I'm gonna wait until something comes around with tires anyway Rob. I just put a new set of tires on my J and don't really feel like buying new rims and tires right now.

hey rob, i guess i'm hoping to appeal on the sympathy of a fellow NICO member!!!!!LOL yea, i'm going for the rims on ebay (i've bid on these too). been trying to get a hold of these for a while (can check all my previous posts and threads started!). i'll keep bidding, but i agree with docsmile71, not in the best interests of either of us to drive the price up. like i said, i REALLY want these rims, and according to your last post, you seemed like you'd let them go if another member was dying to get them. let me know how you feel about this, and what way you're leaning, doesn't make much sense for both of us to go broke!!!!LOL! thanks rob, jeff:)

ok.. well heres a deal ill make... i'll let these go to ya, just because. is there a certain price that you will stop at? because if so i will continue bidding if it reaches that prices, but otherwise i wont(i'll pass word along to my mom not to bid, cause she likes to bid for things im losing on whether i tell her to or not)

edit #1: whats your ebay ID?(just so i know)

edit #2: for those who think my last name(Hakari) is japanese or chinese or something, it isn't. It's Finnish and pronounced Hack-are-ee(or something along those lines), not Ha-car-ee

edit #3: Five minutes later.... it's killing me that I let ya have those, but hey, I could spend my money on stuff I actually need. So it's better that way, no matter what my subconcious is telling me.

hey rob, i'll be eternally grateful, and i guess i owe you BIG brother!!!! let me know if there is anything i can ever do,,,,,,of course i still have to win the bidding (you never know if some last minute snake will jump in!!!!). no b.s., i've been waiting for these rims for a while (another NICO member might write in if they remember seeing one of my posts in the buy/sell/trade threads looking for 16" rims). i'd rather not give my exact high bid amount, just in case someone would read this and bid. it is higher than you were willing to go, though. if you have any more questions might be better to email me directly at [email protected]. thanks again rob, jeff

ok, i understand your reasonings for not giving out your bid. as long as i know it's higher than mine, i won't worry about it. i might email ya tommorow about something though. im too tired to think anymore. its bedtime for me(and incase you can't tell by my response time... i have nothing better to do than watch my email alerts and just browse this forum:))

how the hell did my car get on there? Oh well...those rims look like crap on a J...personally i like the other photoshop i did of the G35 17s. I dunno though...it doesnt really make sense to get pretty much the same rims as what is already on the older Q. They dont look to much different, just shiny.

well.. since its supposively a clarion part... i went to the clarion site and looked but couldnt find that exact one.

but they were from 215-240...

also anew question... if i got any cd changer.... all i need to do is make sure i connect the right wires(way simplified version of what i had to do with my blazer when i changed cd players)... cause if its that easy... im just gonna buy a new one from somewhere else...

advice?

edit:ack... only 31 minutes left! rapido por favor!

Jeff - Congrats on the new rims! Several of us have those same rims, and your tire choice is easy:

245/50 or 255/50 looks and rides great on those rims. Literally a hundred choices in that size.

RobHakari,I'm glad that another opportunity arose for you. That was a very nice thing that you did with the ebay auction.

It's nice to see infiniti owners stick by each other and really help each other out.
