Q Wheels, Refinish?

I just bought a '94 Q and the previous owner put on cheap wheels. I have the originals (the solid style, not spoked) that do not look too bad but have some normal wear after 94k mi., some cuts and gouges. I'm thinking about having them reconditioned to keep the car original. 1. Is this possible? 2. Who could do this kind of work? 3. How much would it cost? 4. Should I even go down this path or replace them with 17s?
