You know I blew my engine? Well actually floated my valves and damaged the piston heads. Sucks. I need a new motor now.
So what is up with the wheels, you keeping them?
Heck no! Z32 are 16" while OEM G50 are 15".phenryiv1 wrote:Can a G50 run Z32 brakes on stock wheels?

For now, I will likely keep them, but it is not 100% for sure- did you get that email about the 2 sets on eBay?
If not, here s the basics of my reply:

As far as I can tell, they are the same rims. I know that RX-7s in the early 90s came with BBS rims.
Like I said, I am still thinking about selling mine, but those look like a good deal.

one ton garage wrote:The diameter of the wheel is actually not a major issue when dealing with the Z32 brakes, as you can fit 15s over the whole brake assembly with room to spare. What does cause an interference in most cases, is the wheel spoke contacting the side of the caliper. This wheel spoke clearance is referred to as wheel disk, with a higher disk wheel having a thicker mounting pad (the center section of the wheel that attaches to the hub), that effectively pushes the spokes outwards, and away from the brakes. I can't say whether the stock Q wheels have a high enough disk to clear the Z32 four pot calipers or not, but I think it would be safe to say that even if they didn't, a simple 5mm spacer will save the day, as that's all that's needed to get most other oem nissan alloy wheels to clear the big brakes.
phenryiv1 wrote:your maxima.org mail all bounced back to me over the weekend, which explains why I have not heard from you.
As of Sunday @ 4:30 EDT, is the org still down?
I30tMikeD wrote:Yep, still down. I sometimes get some communication from other moderators when this happens and what is going on, but I have not heard anything yet.
So I guess your going to keep the rims for now......
