Q to all with a cai or wai or any aftermarket

i've had cai's on 2 cars before i got my max - 95 toyota paseo and 98 toyota corolla

they say you'll get 5-15 hp extra with the setup but i never dyno'd any of'em so not sure if i got anything. on the it felt like i gained a little extra power off the line but on the i-state noticed a slight drop in top end hp.

so...can anyone tell me if it's worth putting it in? except the cool sound maybe someone got some stats?

i was thinking about riggin up a leaf blower under the hood - saw a video where they dyno'd a civic without/with one and the gain was awesome - i think over 50 hp.

diferent video but yeah...seriously though, cai might give me up to 15hp and that's not whp. any point except looks and money thrown away?
