Motor is good and so is switch. Seems to be jammed on the passenger side as driver side vent will rise but not passenger side. Will not go back at all. First, How hard is it to disassemble. Can I get individual parts or do I have to get entire assemblies. I assume it is probably a broken cable on the passenger side. Anybody done this? I really want to fix it...Thanks in advance.George.

I've done this before. The problem was the rails weren't lubed well enough causing the sunroof to jam. Pretty easy way to kill a the roof motor as I found out... This can be DIY and is straight-forward but takes a lot of time. You have to remove the trim on both A and B pillars and the roof. Before you do this, try lubing it first.

what kind of lube do you recommend? WD-40? or more of a grease type lube?

I have always used white lithium grease. But in the winter it gets too hard and I use 3-in-1.

I do not recommedn WD40 unless you are also trying to remove somthing (like caked on old white grease).

Fred...:)
