q sounds like a diesel

New plugs,maf,injecter,fuel pump coming from Infinity dealer in Delaware.ok when i pull into a parking spot with cars on either side,besides the loud roar from the fan , my car actually sounds like a diesel. idles fine no body or engine shake. dont really notice it driving or at stop light ,only when another car is next to it.maybe shes growling at the other cars

Are you speaking of HLA noise? VH45DE should never sound like a diesel.

Dont know what it is, just sounds weird.Kinda like maybe a chug chug sound.Also noticed if i give it heavy throttle ,there is a small pause before power kicks in.More noticable on drivers side with foot on brake and in drive like its idling low but its right above 500.I mean I have a 94 tempo v6 and I swear its faster off the line than the q.

So all injectors? Did you pull the plenum? Clean it and lower runers? OEM fuel pump and fuel filter? EGR and IAC valve?

Verify fuel pressure?

500 rpm is too low, but dash tach is not super accurate.

check your exhaust, you will need a mirror. Look above the clamps that attached the pipe to heat protects plate whcih runs along the top of exhaust pipes. My pipe clamps rusted a little and I could not tell where the noise was coming from until one cold day I looked under car while it was running and saw heat coming from exhaust. I jacked up car and used a mirror holding it over the top of the pipe. In three diffrent spots right next to the clamps, were thin open spaces running in downward C shape around the top of pipe which was hard to see.
