changed rear brake pads and hardware kit, AND all rubber pinboots that sadly do not come with the kit using OEM parts I had waiting for the time....well, after 103,xxx miles on the rear pads, today was the day as the old pads were about the thickness of a credit card,no joke.Measured new pads at 12.5/32,old ones were hard to accurately measure, but I would guess 1.5/32 at best left before hitting the backing plates. rotors were still good, and have never needed turning yet.

Changed oil using M1 OW-40/Pure One filter, the first time using anything but Redline oil for at least the last 180,000-190,000 miles, will get it analyzed at compare to the dozen or so Redline samples I have taken over the years- will say that after 93 days and 7200 miles in use, the Redline drained out still looked light golden color on the dipstick, which is a great sign, especially with 278+K on the clock.

Why the change from Redline to M1 you may ask? well my last 100 quart stash of RL finally was depleted, and I lost my discount source {$7-8/qt} with $10-11/qt now being the cheapest I could find, and found M1 OW-40 last "black Friday" for $4/qt and stocked up for that great price- seemed like a no-brainer at that price difference

Not sure what that means, Eric? Qship is very meticulous about oil changes and other maintenance..

Yeah I wish I would have taken advantage of the $4/quard deal you posted about, I paid $4.99 today for some conventional stuff...

Great to hear that these cars are still a great testament to longevity with great maintenance, you're probably the second highest i've heard of on original engine/transmission
