We'll see how your memory is after double your guaranteed lifetime.

I had to do this to my Q before I sold it. I think it goes like this

1. open your door and put the key in the ignition and turn it to the 'ON' position (but don't start the car)

2. leave the key there and get out, close the door

3. wait 15 sec (?not sure how long) open the door

4. it should work again. if not, repeat 1-3 but wait longer. if it still doesn't work then i have the procedure all wrong and you should search google/nico gluck

Instructions are correct but wait a minimum of 1 minute with the door closed.

Also try blowing out the ignition cylinder with compressed air.

Is your "cancel" button pressed? It's the button beneath the power steering wheel adjustment. If it's pressed, seat memory is disabled.
