Ha... that's cool. It's interesting to see pics of a Q with the less detail rather than more.

Keep tinkering... see if you can find a filter that will stylize the lines and colors. Keep the detail, but hone it down a bit.

No kidding? I figured you were running pics through a filter... so, explain how it's done. You're saying that you have actually hand painted, on canvas, with oil, each one of these? Holy crap! How long does that take... and, how awesome are you?

Well im a GA by trade and I also do alot of tattoo designs for a local shop.

The art was made with this:

A light table

Pics ripped from random Nico posts

A few pencils

Paper of course

Basically just take the picture and rough outline it, pull some of the colors off the pics with the dropper.

After that its all basic oil painting skills to a certain degree. Blending of colors and such. Also look closer to see all my imperfections, youll see I clearly butchered the rear wheel on my car, turned out a big grey blob, lol

And I kinda screwed up on GQ's garage door. But you have to use it in the sense of realism, no erasers ya know Each picture probably took 1 1/2 hours. but i was drinking so that may have slowed me a bit.

And no, im not that awesome, I just thought some Q artwork was needed. :P
