These question are pertaining to the "CA18DET Installation Package " as listed on the site.

1.) How much RWHP can be expected with that setup, and at what boost level? (i don't know what stock boost is, so please bear with me)

2.) Are the intake, downpipe, fuel pump, and exhaust, name brand pieces, or proprietary After Dark? If name brand, are you at liberty to list them here?

3.) What is the diameter of the exhaust and downpipe?

4.) What diameter Cat does that come with, if any? Can i get a "test pipe" instead?

5.) (kinda dumb question, but...) Does the ca18det come with its own transmission, or do you use the 240sx's?

6.) How long does it take to complete the instalation/tuning?

thanks, in advance

Ditto those questions, and are you available to install in mid-July?

1.) 160-165rwhp, it'd still be at stock boost.

2.) Intake is ours with an Apexi Filter, Fuel Pump is a Walbro 255, Downpipe is ours, Exhaust is Apexi N1 Catback.

3.) 3 inch

4.) You can get a testpipe, and it would be 3 inch. : )

5. ) It comes with it's own transmission, or we can hook up the KA transmission if you'd prefer, they have different gearings.

6.) 1-2 days for a fairly "stock" swap. If you purchase in advance we can have everything ready and you won't be charged sales tax as we write it up as an internet sale.

Yes, we'll be available. Enjoy your day!

I don't remember if the bell housing bolts up, but the gears can be swapped,

Couple of questions to this:

1.) What would it take to put the CA18DET in mid 13s or so? I'm assuming 250-300rwhp - would upping the stock boost with an FMIC accomplish this?

2.) If I wanted a Bee*R or 5Zigen, and warned you ahead of time (so you had time to procure it), would that be a problem? Also, do you have any sound files (or know of any) with various exhausts, or dyno comparisons?

3.) Do you know, or have a link to, the differences in gearing between the two transmissions? Both final drive and individual gear ratios.

Thanks Daunt!

1.) I'd suggest piggy back control, fmic, S13 turbo, and the other things in the package. Probably a clutch, nismo mounts, and some larger injectors as well.

2.) Theres not a problem with that, the cost would be adjusted accordingly, the Apexi N1 is 400, so the additional cost would be added. I don't have any comparisons right now.

3.) CA18DET Gearing:

3.321 - 1st 2.057 - 2nd 1.308 - 3rd 1.000 - 4th 0.838 - 5th 3.382 - Rev 4.363 - Final

SR20DET Gearing

3.321 - 1st 1.902 - 2nd 1.308 - 3rd 1.000 - 4th 0.759 - 5th 3.382 - Rev4.083 - Final
