Since my Q turned 30 sometime this month, I decided to have a little celebration. What could be better than a couple of days in the garage with a clay bar, some polish and wax, and a few pictures? She even got a new set of wiper inserts, and I resealed a leaky timing chain tensioner inspection plate on the front cover. My 10 year old insisted on gifts. I'm afraid the insane apple hasn't fallen far from the tree.

Anyhow it's raining and nasty here today, so the pictures aren't next to a plam tree and a lake - but instead of the garage queen in her natural environment.

And what Garage Queen's lair would be complete without framed pictures from the original press kit.

Nice!!
Are you going to go for Antique state license plate? Not sure about SC, in FL it has to be 30, so you would qualify!
The 20 hole 16's from fgy33 look good
I see the original positive post cover...I have both of those, but took them off when I added the float charger infrastructure.
Am I crazy or did you do LED lighting for the footwells?
+1 for the M1 0w-30.....that's what I have been running in the G50s for the last 6-7 years now. I do mix in 0w40Euro for the 6th QT.
Damn.....you and Brian and Robert Yuen and maybe Qship96 bought up all those 15208-60u00's 12ish years ago when Joe had them on special...never scored any....
Glad to see your son is a Minnesota Vikings fan.....SKOL!

I think in SC you can only have the antique plate if you agree to only drive it on the road to car shows, and events like parades. I'll have to check on that though.

I have a couple of the 60U00s left, but those are eBay purchases. I don't think I scored that many from Joe. I remember getting a handful of 55Y00s and being caught off guard. I'm going ahead and using them after reading some (hopefully unfounded) fears about the glue on the end caps of old filters getting old and coming apart over on BIOTG.

Adam latched on to the Vikings when he was very young and his favorite color was purple. I'm thinking about taking him up to see the game in Minnesota when the Panthers play there this year. We'll have to see on that though.

You can buy a 'year of manufacture' plate which is what I've done on my 88 Prelude. You just have to find a plate whose characters aren't already registered.

Lastly, Radwood is coming to Greenville in March. Enter that bad boy! I entered the Lude and would probably my Q but it's a 2000

Radwood sounds pretty cool!

I'll think on the whole year of manufacture plate deal. For me it would be the old Wren and Yellow Jasmine plate, which wasn't really my favorite - but it would would certainly be unique at this point. I think I still have a couple of them on hand - even the one that was on my first Q back in 1996. Amazingly, it was a bit controversial in it's day! https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm ... story.html

Oh yea that bird plate is pretty bad. I got lucky with the one that looks like a NC plate haha. But yea, check out Radwood and enter your car.

That has to be one of the best example of a well taken care of Q45, especially for an earlier G50. Hey, where did you get your strut tower brace from. I've been looking for one for a while now. Also, I really like the 2nd gen Q45 wheels. Are those tires stock sizes or did you have to adjust the size to match the G50 tire size? Good looking girl, I wish all Q45s (and women) aged that gracefully.

The strut tower brace was fabricated by Jeff Williams, a member here that is no longer active. It looks like his last post was in 2010.

I've played around with different tire sizes over the years. I'd have to go back to see what's on there now, but if I remember correctly it had more to do with what was available at the time.

Your lovely female Black 1990 Q45 would be a perfect match for the male Black 1990 Q45 that was on show at the Pebble Beach Concours d' Elegance Infiniti display last August.
Not for sale, but give Infiniti Headquarters a call for his chance to mate.

Thanks for pictures. I put the 0w-30 mobile and a nissan filter in my car today. That rattle on start is gone. My air filter still looks good.
