Q Rear brake caliper '90-96 all the same

Are the '90-93 rear brake calipers the same as the '94-96 on the Q45? I seem to remember the brake pads being different on the '94 when compared to the '91.

yes. fy33 and the J30 models share a common (but different from G50) rear caliper as well. It is about 3/8" deeper, and allows use of a vented rear rotor. i did this on my G50. easy upgrade.

Well that is interesting. You converted a G50 rear caliper system to the Y33? Were you able to bolt the Y33 caliper right to the existing rear end? Did you have to change the rotors out?

youll obviously have to change the rotors (theyre quite a bit thicker..

and yes, they bolt right up. suggest you get NEW caliper pins and re-do the capier seals either way.
