Hi Everyone,

It's been awhile since I posted as I have been overseas on vacation for four weeks and am just now getting back into the swing of things. Tonight I was able to finish pulling the oil pan and everything looks pretty good. Just a few small pieces of chain guide in the bottom and some gasket material, but other then that pretty clean. The oil pan has definitely been off before, as is evident by the large amount of rtv sealant on the pan. The pan will get cleaned up and put back on tommorrow. Next week I will order the chain guides, water pump, plugs, and other misc. parts. Then will come the fun part: putting everything back together!

Looks good.... Just dont use the "RTV shotgun" as it was apparent it was used in previous trials....

Hows the condition of the inside of the pan, some sludgey stuff?

Actually, the pan was pretty clean, just a bit of leftover oil since I drained it, but after spraying it down with some cleaner, the inside is looking good.
