q problems ahead?

today while starting the q{133,000 miles,factory battery about 27 months old} i got a "low battery charge" light that lasted a few seconds,no other symptoms,hasnt occured last 2 starts-what can i expect? bad battery or alternator? fluke? should i ignore this until it happens again?

Funny, becuase I get the same thing sometimes...

When the car is hot soaked (stopped for about 5 mins) and restarted, it goes, then dies, and displays that message.. next start is fine...

Mine did that too...ended up that the alternator was dying slooooowly (oil leakage from valve covers did it in).

pay heed to any warning related to low voltage--get it checked out. Battery, alt output, loose belts?. Q45 electronics do not like low voltage and lots of error message will happen.

Will do. Just had my battery replaced, and will have all that stuff checked when she goes in for an oil change (next week)

I have only gotten the message about 3 times ever...
