I've been following this man's progress very closely... The turbo in the pic looks to be a T76 or possibly T88, hard to tell.

Someone posted this pics of this car earlier? Hmmm...must've missed it.

I'm not sure what he's expecting to run, but from what I hear, this guy's pulling out all the stops and is expecting to make this the fastest Z in Australia with low 8's to high 7sec aspirations.

A few guys over at the Z board I frequent (Hybridz.com) keep in touch with him and they say the motor has iron-sleeved cylinders, girdled block, o-ringed head gasket, custom forged bottom-end.

Just by looking at the frame rails, my heart goes out to anyone who has to deal with fabbing up a manifold, much less a turbo manifold. :eek:

7sec seems to be about right, with proper blue-printing and boring for higher displacement, this motor could in theory, produce up to 1,700horses.

Damn! That reminds me of the last time I was at the Infiniti dealership. Saw a 1st Gen Q on a lift and a nice big V8 sitting under it! :eek:
