I've got myself a '92 Q45 that has been very good to me. I used to drive a honda civic, so the switch to the Q has been nothing less than amazing. I'm quite happy with the power it has, but I would love more. I've been reading the forums and posts from around here trying to decide what would be the best way to go. So now I'm hoping to get some advise from you experts out there.

I've heard lots of good things about the zx 4.08 switch. There's one on ebay right now for $100, just caught my eye, not sure if it's a good deal or not.

Any info's appreciated!

welcome to the site!!!! if you do a search i think you'll find that there isn't alot of practical ways to modify (aftermarket) the Q for more HP performance. from what i've learned, the tolerances in the design of the engine were so small that it's very difficult to add or enhance the stock 278++ HP. the rear end switch, again, from what i've read here, does make a pretty noticable difference in the starts(along with a TCU upgrade). i think a few members have done this. will probably chime in soon....... jeff

ECU/TCU (Jim Wolf) is a really good enhancement. NOS is cheap and quick, but I can only think of one member that has NOS on a Q.
