Has anyone ever seen a Q model car? I want to decorate my garage with a few but I don't know if they exist.

Think there's one or two on eBay from time to time - Made by Tamiya, if I remember correctly. Very JDM though - 19" monoblock wheels, more President than domestic-issue Q.

I believe the one I bought on eBay was by a company called Fujumi (sp?).

They are easily damaged in shipping, so get the optional insurance! The first one I bought got crushed in a move, the second crushed in shipping. I've yet to actually assemble one!

I bought one of the Fujumi models on eBay once. I was really surprised that it came with both LH-drive and RH-drive dash panels. It also came with a rear spoiler so you could make it a T model if you wanted. The Q just doesn't look like it is truely proportioned as a 1/24th scale model. The real thing is so much better looking...

I found the Q45 model car made by Fujimi like you guys said. It costs about $13.00 in Japan but the shipping wasn't listed. A store in NY has them for 19.99. It's a 1st Gen...ain't bad looking but you have to paint it and what not.

Thos rims look like a chromed version of the rims the factory put on the "a" cars.

Even though few "a" cars were made you should still be able to find those rims, with a bit of effort, as most ppl didn't like 'em all that much.

Maybe chroming them makes all the difference.

From what I have read those wheels are also the wheels that the 90-91 "t" models got. Too bad they weren't like the model represents: 18' with low profile tires. The actual wheels are 15"x6.5" and look way smaller on the car than they do in that representation on model's box.

I saw a J30 with these wheels and it looked really cool. I have only seen them one other time on a Q and don't remember if it was an "a" or a "t". They look alot like some Buick LeSabre wheels.

Some used wheel places carry them. Just can't see going from a 15"x7" to a 15"x6.5" wheel just for the look.

I have the completed Fujimi model here in my office. Ok model..not the quality of Tamiya. No engine detail or the like. Pretty basic. I got it on Ebay for about $10 or so.

Those are the 90 for sure and possibly 91 HICAS wheels 15x6.5 The standard wheel those years was the piepan. Those HICAS wheels are on ebay all the time cheap. Lots don't have the centercap though. Then you see the centers on ebay all the time also. Both those models, the new Q and the old are also on ebay all the time.
