Q loose door handle

When I shut the doors to my Q (well the front ones), It doesnt sound right, almost like something is loose. I have determined that the outside door handle is loose.... Is it accessible from the inside (like as in you just need to remove the interior panel and then its right there) or do you need to disassemble other stuff?? Thanks a lot....

It is accessible from inside. You must pull the front door panel. check http://www.carstereohelp.com for instructions on pulling the door panels.

Ok.... I got in there, and I couldnt fix the door, BUT.... isnt there supposed to be some sort of sound deadening material inside the door, because there isnt anything inside mine of the sort. Also, is there such a thing as spray in stuff to make it a little quieter????

Do a search for "sound dampening" or "Sound Proofing", or "sound damping"... About 50 posts on how to do it and what to use. Just finished doing my 2 front doors on my 1990 that before sounded like a tin can being open and shut. Now its much quieter and sounds solid as a rock.

Was it in fact the door handles? You may check your moldings along the bottom edge of the window. I had that problem on my '97 Q. Could be missing a clip that secures the molding to the door.

The handle is still a little loose, but it isnt the reason why the door sounds as such... I remember seeing in the service manual something about a door handle adjustment, can anyone expound a little on what it is supposed to do...
