Well folks, we're really hoping all (or most, anyway) of the big issues have been addressed with the '95. Now it seems we have to start dealing with the little bits and pieces falling off the car! The latest is the grill emblem. I found it in the driveway. I NEVER slam the hood on any car - let it drop from about 6".

So, I see the remains of some sort of adhesive residue - somewhat papery - on the emblem-shaped indentation in the grill. The emblem still has the 2 little pins on it that fit in the 2 little holes in the grill. What holds this thing in?

Cheers,Glenn

Thanks, Capt! I know 3M makes a 101 different types of adhesives, but I'll read the labels to see which one works on shiny chrome.

Use the 3M used for automotive applications. Its used specifically for emblems and moldings. Its grey with red backing tape. You'll know when you see it.

That's the sort of tape I used for affixing my wood kit on the dash. I decided to use the tape as opposed to mounting it with screws in case I didn't like the way it looked, I could just pull it off without having holes in the dash. I like the way it looks so I'm going to screw it in. I just don't seem to have a screwdriver head small enough. These screws are tiny.
