I found a local junkyard today that had two Q's! Actually 1.5. They had a 91 that was absolutely worthless... I think it has been sitting there for years - instrument cluster, glass, etc, all gone. They have no interest in trying to preserve the interior parts at all. The climate control was laying in the back seat (getting rained on right now). Leather was brittle and pulling to peices in the sun, etc... Radio still in the dash with a rusty cover... I tried to buy the climate control and clock, but at $50 for the CC and $25 for the clock, I really didn't want to part with the cash just for fun. Being exposed to the elements I doubt they're worth having...
The other Q was a 93 with 179K showing on the odometer. It's actually half of a Q - the entire rear half (from the pilar that holds the back door hinges back was gone. Car was still sitting on it's front wheels. I don't think it's been there long. I tried to scavenge the TCU, but he'll only sell it with the transmission.
Both cars were completely gutted under the hood...
Talk about depressing, but I did get a relay and a hand full of screws I needed at no charge!
