Q front door speaker grilles, just pry them off?

Hi folks -

I bought Dom's front speakers and amps, and I'm going to install them in my '91. I've looked at the section in the FSM dealing with the interior, and with the front doors, and it's not really specific about the speaker grilles. Do you need to disassemble the door panel, or can you get at what you need to get at by just prying off the grilles themselves? TIA - Pat

take the whole panel off. it's not hard at all

Gently (GENTLY WITH A SPATULA OR SOMETHING!) pry off the power seat/window switch panel. Slide back the arm rest and then remove screws. Carefully lift/pull the door panel off.

This is the greatest site for head unit or speaker removal. Good thing the Q pages are free.

Do you have some you need to get to? I've been able to get to some of the pics, that are hidden behind the "fees". Let me know

hey man i'd like to see pics for removing front door speakers off of a 93 nissan 240sx coupe...mine sound like **** and i'm trying to see if i need to replace them or it's a loose connection....thanks
