1st post fr Venice CALI. all the offset research got me burnt out- I'm considering these 18"BENTCHI B8 rims on ebay & Victoriatire.com- it's 18x7.5in -comes w/ +38 mm offset?. what is the fattest tire i can mount on the rim without any rubbing or spacer,spring etc mods-.can i just mount em and roll out on my 95Q. objectives-look smoof like bruce-yet evade like luke duke-conquering potholes like the oe 15's- i even wanna raise the q on some General Lee motif. can these delusions of grandiosity -manifest destiny-w'your help

There's really no tire rubbing issue running that width wheel and offset.

245/45 is the widest you'd want to put on a 7.5" wide wheel. I've seen 255/40, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Make sure the tire meets or exceeds the 95 load rating, and proper speed rating.

IMHO, you want at least an 8", 8.5" or 9" wide wheel, offsets in the 35 to 38 range. If you do get some 9" (or even wider) rear wheels, you'll want a higher offset to stay off the wheel well lip.

These wheels and a set of 245/45/18's would be fine at stock height, maybe a slight rub of you're lowered.

The important measures of wheels besides bolt circle wheel width, interior clearance and offset is weight (rotational mass) and strength.
