Q for everyone with an aftermarket exhaust...

What did you do with your stock exhaust? Recycle it? Throw it in a dumpster somewhere? Give it to someone to use for whatever reason? I get my Stillen exhaust tomorrow and having lived in Naples, Italy for the last 2 and a half years (and other overseas location for the past 8 and a half years) I have NO idea how to dispose of things like that. Is there enough pipe in the stock exhaust to make a kick-a** potato gun out of?

I know in Naples stuff like that just gets thrown into the street somewhere with all the other trash since the garbage service is mafia run and is quite possibly the most inefficient service I've ever experienced. I'm guessing the throw it into a rural street somewhere probably wouldn't fly in the states!

I had my exhaust installed at a shop so they just disposed of my old one for me! If you are doing the same then they will ask you if you want it and if not they most likely will trash it for you!

I wouldn't dispose of it. Keep it. Who knows if you'll need it in the future.

Its "best practice" in my opinion to keep anything that you remove from your vehicle that you replace with an aftermarket part. If you were to sell your car in the future it would be better to return it to stock.

here in Canada most shops will ask and if you opt to leave it with them they will salvage it for scrap and get a buck or two for it

id keep it for future purposes. maybe one day u get sick of the exhuast, and want the stock back on, or the stillen breaks or something, and for resell value (some people dont like the exhuast noise)

so id keep it no matter wat, and if u were to buy one from nissan again, i can imagine the price be around the same as a nismo lol

I guess I'll keep mine... I was going to dispose of it because I live in a townhouse and don't have a garage but I guess I'll just throw it in the closet in the office.

I plan to run my car until it refuses to move. So resell value isn't much of a concern for me. I am planning to sell my stock exhaust since my apartment doesn't have that much space for extra junk lying around.

I don't know man, it's kinda big. I was going to keep mine but I have no where to put it at all so I had to let them trash it. Unfortunate actually..
