I'm planning on doing front caliper replacement again this coming weekend and was doing a little reading up on it beforehand.
Just a quick question, during brake bleeding it mentions that it is necessary to disconnect the ABS actuator electrical connectors before bleeding the system. I know I have an ABS system, but the connectors are not where they are supposed to be according to the manual, anything I've read online, and its worth mentioning that the previous owner did a significant amount of custom aftermarket wiring (not in a good way). Would disconnecting the battery terminals effectively disconnect the ABS connector letting me do an end-run around finding where my ABS connector wires actually are?

Personally i don't unhook anything when i am bleeding brakes.
If you want you can just disconnect the negative battery cable.
