I will answer your question about 240sx.org. Nico bought 240sx.org several years ago. 240sx.org has been a branch of NICO since then. If you visted the forum there, you were actually coming here and may not have know it! NICO has recently reorganized and in doing so, they apparently did away with the 240sx.org url. I had not noticed until now. All the info that was there is most likey here somewhere. Maybe a mod or admin can help with that!

Z31 T3 does spool very quick, probably to 10psi by 3000rpm.

7psi from a T3 is pushing ~25lbs/min at redline on a KA-E...so assume 250crank HP as a MAX, or 200-205 at the wheels.

You'd be doing well to get 10rwhp for every pound of boost form that turbo...so if your KA-E does 130rwhp now, 7psi should net you maybe 70rwhp increase, and put you right at ~200rwhp.

T3 can support just under ~300rwhp, but that's maxing it out.

And 290-300rwhp is probably ~18-19psi from it.

Basically, use the T3 if you want ~250rwhp or less...get a T3/T4 if you want more.

Wow, and you're making 300 rwhp @ 12 psi from a T3/T4. Does it really take the T3 seven more psi to make the same power?!? Is it that bad? It probably is lol.

well i am running a str8 T3 and i must say that it has no lag. i put down 246whp at ten psi with a serious exhaust leak and my DP half way on. I think that if ur looking for double ur HP and a thirteen second car, that is the turbo for u. if u want more or can afford to have a bigger turbo, go with the t3/t4.

No...Z31 T3 is a great low-boost turbo.

The difference here is that he's using a KA-E...something not noted in this post, but he's mentioned it in other posts. So he's at a ~15rwhp disadvantage over my KA-DE. So maybe 4-5psi for the difference in turbo's, and another 1-2psi for difference in motors.

...at least that's my guess.
